Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the development of methods and means of information support of regional security management. To ensure the sustainable development of the region, a technology for information support of the life cycle of management activities to counter threats to socio-economic security has been developed. Features of the technology are the integration of the principles of the theory of management of complex systems and project management. As part of the work for structuring data and knowledge about the subject area, a multi-level conceptual model is being formed. It allows to determine the main objects and relations between them for the tasks of ensuring the socio-economic security of the region. On the basis of the conceptual model, the corresponding applied ontology is built, which allows to organize an automated transition from formal descriptions to elements of simulation models. One of the parts of the developed technology is a multi-model complex of socioeconomic security, for the creation of which agent technologies, system dynamics and discrete-event modeling were used. The technology allows to generate simulation
models to study the possible negative effect of the implementation of projects on the state of socio-economic security and on the basis of simulation results to form analytical information for the development of a set of measures to counter the identified threats.
